The
artist, Junée Kirk, is best known for her landscapes and street scenes
which are painted "en plein aire" (on location). She creates depth
in her work by using a blend of warm natural colors, painted with a sense of
free spontaneity.
Junée has sold paintings and won prizes in both juried and non juried
shows. She has been commissioned to paint works of private homes, portraits
of people, and portraits of animals
The artist has painted on location in France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, England
and Mexico, and most recently throughout the Mediterranean.
She has studied with Zoftan Zebo and Steve Quiller and has painted for over
thirty years. Her works have been bought by Dominion Bank and Northwest Bank
of Denver where they can be viewed on location.
